I have a new project to start and I'd like to know your opinion about Struts vs Struts2.
The project will also be using Tiles and Hibernate.

I use Struts 2 with all my new projects. It took me a little while to get the hang of, but one ends up writing a lot less code for the framework compared to Struts 1.x.

There's almost no good reason to do new development with Struts 1 considering all the other better, cleaner alternatives out there (including Struts 2, of course!)
