I am writing a program and I am looking to run a test to check between variables to find a set of numbers that are the same amongst 6 variables. I have not been able to find anything on this topic so far, does anyone have any ideas?

I appreciate the help

It's not something you're supposed to look for, but something you're supposed to think by yourself. What do you have so far ?

the best way to approach problems like this is to (at first) forget about Java. How would you, personally, on paper, do it? Be specific. come up with a set of instructions you could hand to someone else and say "follow these steps" and they'd get the same result.
