I am writing a program and I am looking to run a test to check between variables to find a set of numbers that are the same amongst 6 variables. I have not been able to find anything on this topic so far, does anyone have any ideas?
the best way to approach problems like this is to (at first) forget about Java. How would you, personally, on paper, do it? Be specific. come up with a set of instructions you could hand to someone else and say "follow these steps" and they'd get the same result.
