Difference between errorPage in jsp and <error-page> in web.xml

Hi,

Can any one give clarification regarding below one.

I would like to know the difference between errorPage attibute in jsp and <error-page> in web.xml for handling exception as well as error.

when we will use errorPage as well as <error-page> in web.xml?

<error-page> in JSP will be for whole web application....
we can map Exceptions & error code in DD.

page in errorPage attribute will be called only when any type of error came on that JSP only.
