I passed the certification exam on 20-Nov-2008 12:00 PM.
It 'was a great thrill and a great way to confirm their knowledge.
The books I used are "SCJP & SCJD - Complete Java 2 Certification Study Guide - Sybex (2006) and SCJP Sun Certified Programmer for Java 5 Study Guide (Exam 310-055), completing the study with information on the specific SUN .
