Content Handler Settings in wtk
posted 6 years ago
I installed a sample hello world application on my cell (w810i).
Later on I went to the Settings for my project.
Chose the "Content Handlers" and there added my hello world midlet class name under basice settings along with a key.
Then for content types I added 2 types:
I was expecting the following behaviour after installing the new jar.
Whenever I would bluetooth a .txt or a .jpg file to my cell the hello world midlet would be invoked.
This is not happening.
Is my understanding of "content handlers" incorrect or is my cell ignoring "content handlers".
I checked the manifest file and it looks ok:
MIDlet-1: testj2me01, testj2me01.png, firstmidlet MIDlet-Name: testj2me01 MIDlet-Vendor: Unknown MIDlet-Version: 1.0 MicroEdition-Configuration: CLDC-1.1 MicroEdition-Handler-1: firstmidlet, text/plain .jpg, , open, MicroEdition-Handler-1-ID: firstmidlet MicroEdition-Profile: MIDP-2.0
Is something missing?
