This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP 8 forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide and have Edward Finegan & Robert Liguori on-line! See this thread for details.
I was reading something and came across a few things that I failed to understand. Unfortunately, I did not get any answers there; I am trying my luck here:
1. Bitmap memory is different than heap memory. What could this possible mean?
2. Is there any such thing called native Bitmaps?
3. Statement: "Decoding a 64x64 .png resource will give a 64x64, 32-bit in-memory bitmap".What is a "in-memory bitmap"?
