Recovering deleted file from command mode in Slackware OS

I used rm -rf <filename> in order to delete the file/folder . Now I need to recover the file .

Could any one please let me know how to recover it .

Reading a few links I found googling this you might have a chance but I didn't see anything that was concrete. Looks like there's a window of opportunity.
