We're going to do develop banking application it contains deposit, withdraw and loan etc... facilities, our team didn't have excellent knowledge about EJB3, Right now we completed 1/4 of our project, we developed our system using Remote interface, but now some of our members said "remote interface having considerable overhead" is it write or wrong. Regardless his idea please explain we should develop our system using Remote or Local interface. Please we need you're precious comments to improve our system performance . please give some comments.

Dinesh,
The amount of overhead depends on your server. If you aren't making remote calls, it is unnecessary work though and I would advise you to use local. It's not hard to change from remote to local - especially in EJB 3.

In future, does your application have plans to allow remote calls to be made on that bean?

You can have both local and remote interfaces defined. I recommend using local for now and adding remote if/when the need occurs.
