proxy problem

hi. i am doing a project where i must retrieve mail from the server.

 Properties props = System.getProperties();
 session = Session.getDefaultInstance(props, null);
 props.setProperty( "mail.imap.socketFactory.class", "javax.net.ssl.SSLSocketFactory");
 props.setProperty( "mail.imap.socketFactory.fallback", "false");
 props.setProperty( "mail.imap.port", "993");
 props.setProperty( "mail.imap.socketFactory.port", "993");
 props.put("mail.imap.host", dialog.getServer());
 store = session.getStore("imap");
 store.connect(dialog.getServer(),dialog.getUsername(),dialog.getPassword());

i could connect to the server at home. But in college i m getting problems due to proxy settings in my college.please help...

Hey, did you check if the ports are blocked in your college? ask the network admin.
