hi all,

I installed my J2EE tutorial nicely in windows 7, using Netbeans 6.7.1 and Apache Ant version 1.7.1 but now problem starts when I use ubuntu 9.10. When i generate tables using "ant create-tables" i get the following error. In unbutu I use netbeans 6.8, Glassfish v3 and Apache Ant version 1.7.1 . I edited build.properties file correctly.

I think the ant i am using is not compatible with Glassfish V3.

Thanks in advance,
John

Welcome to JavaRanch.

The error message contains rather specific instructions on what needs to be fixed; have you followed up on that?

I followed up on that error, rechecked my build.properties file

javaee.server.port=8080
javaee.server.username=admin
javaee.home=/home/john/sges-v3
avaee.tutorial.home=/home/john/Dev/javaeetutorial5
javaee.server.passwordfile=/home/john/Dev/javaeetutorial5/examples/common/admin-password.txt

AND
javaee.server.passwordfile is in this dir : /home/john/Dev/javaeetutorial5/examples/common/admin-password.txt , with AS_ADMIN_PASSWORD=adminadmin which is the password for my Application Server
