JForum Installation Issues

Hello All,

Please can anyone come to my aid,

I am having issues installing JFORUM to my website , it runs well on my local server (apache tomcat)
but when I deploy to my website and call

it gives me this error

Not Found
The requested URL /imongo/forums/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


Apache/2.2.9 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/ Server at Port 80

it rather tries to download the page on firefox it gives me

<jsp:forward page="install/"/>

and tries to download the link.

Please i am in urgent need of your help. thank you have a wonderful day.

Instead of using the installer, have you tried doing a sort of manual install? In other words, upload the working copy you have to an appropriate directory and then running the DB scripts?
