Android - How to allow the application to end a phone call

Hi,

There is way to allow the application to make a phone call using

startActivity(new Intent(Intent.ACTION_CALL, Uri.parse(toDial)));

My question is, Is there any way to end the phone call through application, More specifically I need to try like end the call as soon as i get the call.

Your reply is makes sense, But I came across a requirement there I need to accept only certain calls and other calls should be disconnected/ Or barred,
If you have any suggestions highly appreciated.

There was a discussion done related to this, check this, about a year back. See if that helps you find an answer or at least a satisfactory reason as to why this is not allowed. You can then explain this to the requirements team.
