Hi guys ,
I had an application that was working fine in J2ME,
However on converting it to POLISH the camera functionality is not working.

I am getting a class cast exception. in the code snippet below.

The exception is caught when i try to cast it to Item typr ie.

Please help me resolve this issue.

It would help if you provided the actual ClassCastException message and indicated which line it happened on.

But as far as it goes, I don't think Polish has a camera API. If I understand the product, it's an enhancement to the basic J2ME that provides a better UI. So for the camera itself, the camera API should be the same regardless of whether you use Polish or not.

ya Tim the exception message is being thrown as
This is all that is being thrown and this is being given at

In the meantime I was trying my hand on The polish api de.enough.polish.ui.SnapshotScreen

this class provides means of capturing an image using the device camera .
Polish Camera sample
All is working fine except that the camera screeen is appearing without the commands though the commands are being listened.
tried hard but couldnot make the commnads appear , may be because I have just started working on polish
