SSL IIS WebSphere 6.1 ND - how to configure

I'm an SSL newbie, trying to figure out how to configure this for IIS and WebSphere 6.1 ND. Is there any documentation out there somewhere to give me options and steps to follow? For example, to confirm my steps are correct, should I generate a certificate from IIS to load into WebSphere or generate a certificate from WebSphere to load into IIS. Both are on the same Windows server, btw. Thanks for all assistance.
