I have got 6 years of exp in core jave in telecom, i am looking for a change. I have attended 2/3 interviews but was not selected. But i dont see any mistakes from my side, i am answering properly to their questions. Actually looking for a lead position, one thing is wherever i go they ask design tools, i have not used any tool for design other than visio and i dont understand what they are expecting. How should i perform in the interview for lead position, please help.

Do you have any management experience? What makes you feel that you can effectively "lead" a group of programmers/developers? What country are you interviewing in?

I dont have people management experience, but i am acting as a tech lead to 2/3 persons in my current project. I am interviewing in India.
