Hi guys,

What does this mean:

Does it mean that if a field lenght is 32 (for instance), and the text I'm writing to the field is 10 characters long, that I have to fill the remaining 22 characters with nulls or " "s (22 spaces).

Ps: I understand it to be nulls, but when I open the DB file with a text editor, there are loads of "spaces" and not nulls?

Thanks,
Pieter

Hi Pieter,

Take a look here and here. And if you use the search engine you'll certainly find a bunch of threads about this issue.

Kind regards,
Roel
