Why are you asking this? Are you planning on asking us the last digits of our phone numbers next week, when you hope we've forgotten this question? So that you can match them up, so that you have our phone numbers?

wouldn't it depend on where you were calling from? someone just a few houses from me would dial 7 digits.

someone far away but in the same area code would dial a 1 first

someone a few area codes away would dial something else,

and someone in a different country would have to dial something else.

My crystal ball says that the next 4 digits are "5309". And your name is "Jenny".

He might have moved. You can not always determine person's location from her phone number.

Yeah - when I lived in Boise I had a Seattle number.
Now that I live in Salt Lake City I have a Boise number.

You dont understand do you ? It will remain a secret. Did you see notice some guys in black suits following you of late ? How about that black SUV that bumped you this morning. We plan to abduct you in our black helicopter in a day or two. Enjoy your last 48 hours

The real black SUVs (nearly always Chevy Suburbans) driven by the DC spooks are not going to bump into you and then drive away. If they want to hit your car, they will push you and your car off the road.

When you see two or more black Suburbans, its smart to move out of their way.
