I am stumbling on the first example in this book(in chapter 3).
Does anyone else facing any similar problems with app1.war on tomcat.

Thanks for getting back to me regarding this post.
I figuredout the problem.
There are two issues with the code in chapter 3.
May be I missed it, but in the initial chapters it didnot mention where I can download code for the book.
Once I got the code from Object source, there is no synchronization of code present on the Object source site compared to the book. I had to change the package directory structure to mybank.. instead fo abcbank as said in the book.
Moving along to the actions chapter.
