Thanks for the reply,

but my confusion is i have been preparing with Headirst java second edition by Kathy & Bates, which covers for java5.0
just wanted to know for SCJP 6.0 is there any further edition available .

I believe there is a SCJP book written by Bert for SCJP 6.

The K&B Book to study for SCJP 6 is available, but there isn't a HFJ for 6. The orginal poster's post makes it hard to determine which book he is asking about.
