Do we have to configure web.xml for using jstl tags

Hi,

I am new to JSP, am looking to create a login page using <c:choose> tag.

here is my code.


When i run this jsp, am getting this error.


Do i have to configure something in web.xml.

No.

Also, the URI in your code doesn't match the URI in the error message. Have you posted the correct information?

While you do not need to declare anything the web.xml to use JSTL, the web.xml must be declared correctly as using the Servlets 2.4 or 2.5 XML Schema. The 2.3 DTD will not do.
