Add Project to CVS

Hello,
I am trying to add a Project to the CVS repository using the TortoiseCVS utility. Now the project has different file types
and is pretty large in size. When I use the "Add Contents" option,I get a message which says "Please specify a valid file format for all files you want to add".
I have checked all the files and they all have valid formats. Is there a way(by means of a setting within TortoiseCVS or any other way) by which I can address
the situation?

Please advise.

Thanks
Richard
