Netbeans build with debug

I am using Netbeans 6.8 and trying to set the debuglevel="lines, vars, source" for the build since I am using Netbeans to do the debugging. Is there a way to do this with the build.xml file or some other way? I want to keep the rest of the defaults but need this option to work. An example would be nice or a pointer to an example.

Thanks
Mike
