I am of the opinion that it is the framework or an application which makes a language popular -- 2 very good examples are Rails and Grails.

In all the books about Groovy, there is a mention about Grails. I am wondering if there is any other good groovy based framework, CMS, etc which is gaining popularity and I should be aware of.

Hello Deepak,

Grails is the most popular groovy framework (and maybe the best), but it isn't the only one. You've got Mark Menard developing groovyworks which is a marriage between groovy programing language, struts 2 and spring framework. You can also find a lot of programs and tools developed by groovy if you keep looking at blogs like groovy.blogs(). Bear in mind that groovy just went to version 1.0 last year, so with its current popularity, it did do a great job.
