Nothing is jumping right out at me, Mark. I can't see anything that looks obvious. Just for the hell of it, try removing your initial values from the form and see if you still get the error. Do you get this error on other pages with other forms, or just this one?

Thanks Jason, I will try that with the initial values.
This is the first form that i can actually test and has all the parts to test. I had gotten confused with SetupActions, regular Actions and their order with relation to jsp pages, which I finally got straightened out. I was putting the Submit action having the content and menu of what should have been there for there to be a Submit button.
Thanks, I will let you know my results when I get a chance to try them out.

Thanks for the suggestion Jason, you were right the initial values were causing the problem, but I actually did the opposite of your suggestion. Instead of removing them from my struts-config.xml. I made sure that they all had an actual value. In the bandName field I had;
initial=""
by adding actual text in between the quotes, it worked. It doesn't look like a pretty page, but it works.
Thanks again.

The initial attribute is optional, so if you're happy having a null value, then you can just not use that attribute.

My favorite is a chocolate cupcake with white frosting and tiny ad sprinkles.
