I worked for a BPO firm and it was my first job. Although, my core job designation was of cutomer service, I got a chance to work with SAP reoporting tool for almost 3 years. The client used this for their reporting and my managers gave chance to me to work with it. However, the project was shut down and I lost the job and as you know an internal job role wil bnot give you any papers. However, my managers told that they will verify that I have worked in the tool if I manage to get a job in the domain.
Now, I have a job from a company in the domain. Will these affect during the background check. Also, I paased my engg in only 2008 although from 2006 batch. As you know a BPO firm does require you to be graduate. Will these effect mt new job. The new job only demanded a degree and not said when you should pass. I have the experience but, the HR of my company will not be able to very whether I was workuing the SAP but my managers will be. My offer letter is yet to come and need yoiur suggestion that how should I present all these to my nedw company.
You are hired for your skills. As long as you can prove that you know something about the product, the company will be interested in hiring you. Since you have folks who can verify that you worked on this stuff and you can pass the interview, that should be proof enough of your capabilities. Answer your employers truthfully and confidently when asked for clarifications.
You can also put SAP on your resume since you worked on it.
