Hi!

Do you show the examples in the book using an IDE?

Great question. Because that area is well covered with screencasts and documentation from the IDE vendors, I decided to leave it out of the 2.0 book. This omission was enabled because all the IDE vendors now have excellent JSF support in their core product, and therefore have documentation to match. In addition, both Oracle NetBeans 6.8 and IntelliJ Idea 9 have very good JSF2 support.

Good to know it!

I prefer to learn without use an IDE, because you end up having a better understanding of how the technology really works.

Thank you!
