hi

when i access http://localhost:8084/struts_try/try.jsp i get cannot find bean "nameList" in any scope exception...

but when i access http://localhost:8084/struts_try/try.do , it works fine.

can any one explain me what is the reason...

thanks in advance.

Because the action is what puts the bean into scope.

But now link http://localhost:8084/struts_try/try.do is also not working... it is giving error like "The requested resource (/struts_try/try) is not available."

earlier it was running perfectly fine.

Restart? I have no way of knowing what you did, if you changed code that requires a restart, etc.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
