Two Positions for Senior Software Engineer, Singapore

We have immediate opening for software engineers with Microsoft experience in our Singapore office. These positions will be working in a diverse team on one of the most used applications for desktop bioinformatics in the scientitfic world. The engineers will work closely with bioinformatics scientists and will be responsible for developing new applications and improving existing applications.

Job requirements include:

Demonstrated ability to lead teams of developers

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience with refactoring MFC code to more recent Microsoft architectures a plus

Conversant with C, C++, DLL, COM, C#, VS .NET technology(project experience with VS2008- IDE, WCP, WPF, WF will be preferred)

Experience with Mac, Windows and *nix development

Experience with Desktop and Enterprise development

Database experience with ORACLE, SQL, query and design stored procedures

Extensive debugging and re-engineer skills

Ability to design based on object oriented concepts, comprehend architectural design and come up with corresponding code

Ability to quickly prototype as a proof of concept, adopt UML methodology

Experience with code management with configuration management tools like VSS and Build procedures

Experience with Unit test their code and willingness to adhere to best software development practices

Familiarity with working with and towards a combination of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485, ISO14971, QSR21CFR and OHSAS 18001 requirements a definite advantage

Applicants need a Batchelors degree in Computer Science or its equivalent and 4 - 6 years of development experience.
