WebSphere dynamic cache and serialization

Hi All

I get a reference to the WAS dynamic cache with a jndi lookup

I can then put objects in the cache.

However, if I try and get the object from the cache in a different ear application, the object in the cache was not serialized and I am forced to serialize it manually.

Does anybody know how I can get the cache to pass me serialized objects?

Thanks
