Facing problem in struts application

Hi All,

I am new to struts. I am creting a struts application and below is the flow.

When you hit a URL to an application it will gove you login page you will clink Sign In it will take you to logon.jsp where you provide a credntial after that it will take you to a jsp (userdetail.jsp) where you get userdetails. below that there is a Delete User link. This link will take you one more jsp deleteuser.jsp. In this JSP user will enter username and press submit button on clicking it that perticular record should be deleted from the database.

But in above flow till deleteuser.jsp everything works as expected. But in this jsp when you give username (which you want to remove from database) and press submit it does not redirects to userdetail.jsp instead it does not show anything on the screen. When i tried to debug the code and found that username which user is giving to deleteuser.jsp
it flowing to DeleteUserForm but from that it is not passing to DeleteUserAction class
In this case i an not getting any exception / errors.

Bleow are the required sources codes.

struts-confid.xml
===========

userlist.jsp
=======

DeleteUserAction.java
===============

portion of Logs on the from server
======================

After last line of above log i am not getting anything on the server log.

Could anyone please help me what is going wrong on above.

Thanks in Advance.

Do you have the logging level set to DEBUG for struts and tiles? Tiles (at least versions this old) is notorious for swallowing exceptions.

If you're not getting into the action at *all*, you'll probably need to crank up the log level and see if there's anything there.

Hi David,

Thanks for your valuable reply.

Could you let me know how to increase log level. Currently i am not using log4j. But if needs to be used to increase log level. Could you let me know where do i need to put debug statement. Or is there any other way in which i can increase log level.

Thanks in Advance.
