Dear Mr.James Holmes
I am really thankful for JavaRanch that it gave us the opportunity to discuss with great people like you .

I want to know if your book is suitable for me as beginner in Struts .
In fact i just read some tutorials about Struts , and it was something difficult for me .

Also what is the pre requirements to start studying Struts .
I am scjp and scwcd , but i don't have lot of real experience , and i am not working as programmer yet.

I wish you to advice me what useful things i must focus to get a job in this field

Thanks alot

Struts: The Complete Reference is for beginners, however, it expects that you have development experience in both servlets and JSP. Additionally, my book is intended to be a useful day-to-day reference.

actually if you are a beginner you may as well read the documentation that comes with struts and try to use some of the added war files. They provide you with a lot of functionality and insight

good luck
