How to clean the Mac

Someone has dared to spoil my beautiful baby. I see a smudged fingerprint on the screen. The perpetrator will be identified and swift retribution will follow. All I need to do is get my wife's fingerprints and compare them!

Problem is how do I clean it up? Though I keep it covered when not in use, the dust somehow manages to creep in. I am thinking of some mild window cleanser. Any suggestions?

I had the same question, and of course asked the Apple store and they showed me they have a cleaner that they sell.

Who'd imagine.

No window cleaner!

Just use a slightly damp lint-free cloth.

Nice to know that Apple even sells screen cleaners.

@Mark
20 bucks for the cleaner sounds like an overkill. I am sorry. Apple won't get my money this time.

@Bear
You sound just like my mom when I was a kid!

Slightly damp lint free cloth it is.

That's not an Apple product; it's just available through their online store. You can buy it just about anywhere.

And don't forget behind your ears! Is your room clean?

I just use a household microfiber cloth to wipe the screen clean (without any cleaning agent), works well.
