Author,
I went through the TOC and it looks interesting. However, I have a question on the actual content of the book. Are all the chapters given in the book acoompany some examples? It looks to me like a blown up version of the JBoss cook book from O'Reilly"s EJB 3. Any comments?

Hi Jothi,
yes examples are the cornerstone of this book. You can also download them freely from packtpub site
http://www.packtpub.com/jboss-as-5-development/book
Well O'Reilly book is an excellent source of information for learning EJB 3 on JBoss, however this book treats EJB as part of a larger project - of course not meaning that's better, just from the perspective of a developer who wants to learn about the application server and not about the single module (EJB) -
kind regards,
Francesco

So you mean to say your book will make me a JBoss developer rather than an EJB developer on the JBoss container?

Just meaning you don't just learn about EJB.
The book you've mentioned covers an extensive set of examples on EJB like Inheritance, multi-table mapping. In JBoss As 5 book you follow the path of a full java EE project developed on JBoss, including administrative sections for the single modules.
