Hi

I sat my exam 3 weeks ago and I haven't got my mark. I know it takes about 4 weeks to mark but I was wondering what the average time is at the moment?

Cheers

Hi David,

No average time. I received mine after exactly 4 weeks, others are not that lucky and have to wait even longer than 6 weeks. Bob Wheeler being one of them, his story can be found here.

Kind regards,
Roel

Ok 4 weeks on and nothing as yet. Is there an indication on the sun cert manager to whether the exam is even being looked at? At the moment my sun cert show only previous exams that I have taken and mentions nothing about the developer exam

Hi David,

In this thread you'll find more information about the various indications of the grading process I noticed. Don't know if this is still the way it is done.

You can always send an email to who2contact@sun.com and ask if they received everything well (assignment, essay exam,..) and the grading process has started. I send them an email just after finishing essay exam asking them if they got my assignment well and notifying them I took the essay exam that day. Got an answer back that everything was received well and was processed for grading.

Kind regards,
Roel

No idea what score I got though, any ideas how to find out?

In the pre-Oracle days you could find your score here (which gives you an overview of the scores per section too). Nowadays you should get a mail with your total score (no overview anymore).

Hello guys,
I took my essay exam on 11 March and still no answer - 8 weeks already. I wrote two times to who2contact@sun.com with no answer. I wrote also to 'developer-submit@oracle.com' and 'suncert_ww@oracle.com' last week - no answer from them as well. I've no idea what to do.
Any idea is appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
Dinko
