JBoss crash handling

Does "JBoss Application Server 5.0 and above" support any server crash handling mechanism?

If JBoss crashes when some transaction is in progress, I would like to continue that transaction when JBoss comes back online. I have EJB3's and some MDBs deployed into the JBoss server and its running on Linux platform.

Thanks!

There may be JBoss scpecifics here, but would a persistent topic or queue not be what you are looking for?

Nice and very useful code Francesco. As long as we can find equivalent class for "ServiceMBeanSupport" in respective Application Server, we can use this service in any of Application Server.
