Google added Killer feature in Gmail few days before its like gift for Gmail users to Twitt (in language of Twitter)...
Google Buzz Twitter like (micro blogging) !
@Bear, from Google's entry into internet , they changed many things .
many products are still in googlelabs waiting to come out...

I like the idea of e-mail integration since I have my browser/e-mail client open a lot. I'd rather have a twitter reader for google though.
And google - just because someone is in my address book does not make them my friend. My default follow list (which is now changed) included a bunch of high school students I am mentoring. I don't need high school profanity in my tweet stream. One of them said his middle school teacher posted something inappropriate it. Wondering if his current students saw that.
I get that Google is trying to pre-build your social network so you don't start with an empty list. But still.
At the other extreme, my mother is automatically following me on Buzz. (or was - her icon is now hidden.) Yes, she e-mails me. But she doesn't know what Buzz is and doesn't want extra things in her e-mail. She is on dial up and wants basic e-mail.
I'm kind of torn. Look, if you don't like Twitter, you're not going to like Buzz. That sort of thing just isn't for you. So when Bear says this isn't a good idea, take it with a grain of salt. He doesn't use Twitter either (sorry to pick on you Bear). But I enjoy twitter. If Google adds the ability for me to post by "buzzes" to my twitter account, the interface is nice enough, I'd probably just use Buzz, but primarily for Twitter. I like how you can add images and video so easily. Right now, I can get my twitter updates in Buzz but they are quite delayed and you can't control Buzz polling interval on your twitter account.
Regarding privacy...I've pretty much come to the realization that if I wanted any kind of privacy I wouldn't be using gmail in the first place. GMail has the best spam filtering in existence, as far as web based free email goes. I can't remember the last time I got spam in my inbox. I just casually empty my spam folder now and again.
So yea, I'm torn. Right now, I don't really use it except for playing around and testing it. I still primarily use Twitter for tech type stuff and Facebook for personal friend / family stuff.
It's interesting in the sense that they're trying to innovate and experiment with new ways of communicating on the web. I don't see a lot of practical value in it for myself at the moment.
I see a little bit, kind of between Facebook and Twitter.
Facebook is becoming bloated and they change the UI in bad ways, making me want to use it left. I still want friends, so I have connections to people I knew when I was a kid, and that I can get statuses and posts statuses that they can see. I would like to email, and maybe chat. But all the other stuff that is in Facebook is now annoying to me.
Twitter is great for a quick idea from someone, but only 140 characters. And seems a little less connected to me.
google got into a lot of trouble with how they implemented Buzz. Originally, they automagically had you following your 'most contacted' email addresses, and had them follow you.
the problem with that is that some folks don't want that. some folks maintain an anonymous address that gets forwarded to their gmail account. Now all the sudden, Google has released a previously private email address to the world. including stalkers and abusive ex-boyfriends.
not what I would call "good" by any definition of the word.
i guess Google created BUZZ because their Orkut is failed to attract People like FaceBook does..
and They are trying to Kill Twitter before Twitter find any idea to earn from Site...

Might be, but the best part for me is, I login into gmail everyday so I see buzz there, whereas I don't login into twitter everyday.

I never used wave so don't know whether it's similar to buzz or orkut.
For Google Wave we need to open separate window while for buzz we can get updates on same "Gmail" screen.
Apart from that, we can also post updates from 7 different sources. which includes Twitter, flickr, You Tube.
Google Buzz Rocks....!!!

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
