application I am passing xmltype data to the oracle procedure which is in following format :
<items>
123456

546525

259875

265874
</items>
Can anybody tell me how to get this xmltype data in the procedure and extract all the values sequentially, as i need these values to be checked in some of my tables one by one.
Thanks in Advance,

I worked in an application which heavily used XML and we used to pass it as CLOB object to database and then convert it to XMLTYPE in database and proceed. Hope this helps.
