It would be really helpful if sorting option is given for topic table.
This way it will be easy to get the list of unanswered questions, or topics with very few posts or
latest questions or even we can find the post of specific user starting the same.

This link is available on the top of the forum. Right next to the FAQ link -- and named "Recent Topics".

When reading a topic, the name of users who posts are clickable. You can just click and get to the page mentioned. On that page are two links, one goes to every post that the user has ever posted. The other goes to every topic that the user has ever started.

The Ranch does show the number of replies to a topic, so you can get a sense of obvious unanswered questions when there are zero replies.

There is also a mechanism that shows whether a topic has been answered, by looking at the little icons, on the left of the topic. Please see legend on the bottom of the page to see what the icons mean.

Add to that, we have a bunch of dedicated ranchhands that try their best to answer questions, that not many unanswered questions get to the second page of any forum. So... just simply scanning the first page (or so) of a forum should be enough, in most cases.

But yes... there is currently no way to sort a forum.
