Can someone suggest some good books on Android for both beginner and advanced level.

You can check out Android FAQs(link in my signature) to get list of Android books or browse this thread for the same.

Personally, I have read Mark Murphy's Busy Coders Guide to Android Development(now known as Beginning Android) and found it well suited for beginners. I just leafed through the topic of contents for his other book(BCG to Advanced Android) and its looks good for a more detailed study.
