I am trying to run the client below, but I am receiving the following error Exception in thread "main" javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: Greeter not bound. I have also tried using java:Greeter/remote and having a @EJB private static Greeter greeter variable. When I check the jmx-console I see the GreeterBean is bound. I am not sure where I am going wrong. I am running JBoss 5 and java 6. Is there another way to call the EJB?

jmx-console

Looking at the JNDIView output you posted, the jndi name you should be using is:

By the way, please use code block to enclose the JNDIView output or any similar log/xml/code. I have fixed your post for now.
