Friends,
I have passed SCEA 5, I got following result for part 3 on Sun's Certification Management site (https://www.certmanager.net/sun_assignment/)
Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE 5, Part 3 (310-062) Feb 19 2010 P 0
Based on following URL this means "Passed both part 2 and 3"
http://www.coderanch.com/t/476569/Architect-Certification-SCEA/certification/Passed-SCEA-grade-P-score
I have yet to receive an email from SUN regarding this. Can anybody tell me after how many days of posting result on site SUN sends email?

Congratulations...
You'll not get any email from Sun. You will get a certification kit from Sun in couple of weeks.

How much time did you took for submission after getting assignment task.
I was very lazy for initial few months. I downloaded my assignment in April 2009. But started working on it in September 2009 only. From mid Nov to Mid Jan I really picked up. I submitted assignment on Jan 19th.

Can you please suggest me which books, mock exams and online resources to prepare for.

For part 1, make sure you know following:
A) What is the best technology in which layer -
* for presentation logic will you use JSF/Servlets/JSP/AJAX+JSP etc.? Expect scenario questions regarding this.
* Advantages of JPA, and will you use JPA/JDBC in given scenario
* EJB and is it applicable in given scenario
B) What pattern will you apply in given scenario. Prepare on all J2ee patterns and common OOD patterns
C) Go through encryption algos and which algo will be used for what type of requirement
D) When to use web services and which technology will be applicable out of JAX-RPC, JAX-WS etc. Also read on SOAP protocol
Go through Mark Cade's book. Although it is old but still useful.
I did buy hard copy of JEE Tutorial by SUN. It can be used to get an overview on every SUN technology including web services.
