In the ODBC Data Sources control panel, how did you set up "Temp"? That is, which data source is Temp using?

Do you really have to use ODBC? Why not install a real database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and use it using it's JDBC driver?

Hello,
Try printing the stack trace as it would provide more information.
In your catch block that catches SQLException do e.printStackTrace().
