Hi All,

I'm preparing for SCEA5 Part 1 and was not able to get any clarity on:

1) Is there a split-up of questions by Sections ? i.e. Of the 8 sections, do we know how many questions per section ?

2) I read in the "SCEA study guide" that only the GOF patterns are relevant for Part 1 of the exam and J2ee patterns are relevant for Part 2 & 3. Is that true ?

Thanks for any pointers.

"Arun AG", please check your private messages for an important administrative matter.

Also, blease use real words when posting to the forums. Abbreviations such as "Q" in place of "question" and "abt" instead of "about" only serve to make your posts more difficult to read and less likely to generate useful responses.

Please read this for more information.

thanks,

>> No Body know how many questions you can get on each section. But you will get questions from all sections, that's confirm.

>> No. GOF and JEE patterns both are required for part 1. Refer Objective 7 in the exam.

Hi Friends,

The Questions in Real Exam reflects All Sections . Each Section touches minimum of 4 to 9 Questions in my Observation.
In my Exam I Observed that 95% of Questions Based on Our Opinions(need to find good solution) on Real Time Scenarios.

I feel the Exam Pattern Gives much confidence in Candidate who is attempting, about Java/J2EE Technologies.

Best Of Luck everyBody who are going to be Attempting Part -1.

Cheers!
Prathap.

I would like to comment that the first part also contains questions about legacy connectivity technologies. It is not clear from the requirements, but hose technologies are still in the exam

looking at the % corrects it almost looked like an equal split (8 questions each for 8 sections) - I mean, in my case. But ofcourse there are overlaps like the web service comes in two places in the objectives so one cannot say accurately.
