I don't think you can blame Sun for this bad experience, it's completely the courtesy of the Prometric testing centre. When I had to do my SCJP6 exam on December 29, 2009 I got a phone call from the Prometric testing centre telling me that her collegue got ill and therefor she had to cancel the exam (because there would be nobody around). I was bumped, because I worked quiet hard in my holiday to be able to take it in the last week of 2009. Luckily I was able to reschedule it in another centre an take the exam on the same day, same time, but other placeJeffrey Williams wrote:it was closed for holidays and no-one form Prometric, Sun or the testing center had bothered to contact me to let me know.

Not sure why this has been so much of a hassle for them. Really so far this take over is not looking that good, I am seriously contemplating not undertaking any more certs. Why should I spend money on this poor of a service.

Received an email in response to my email to who2contact@sun.com. They advised me that their processes are changing and that I should email the assignment to them at a different address, bypassing the website entirely.
