Is Ruby Rack equivalent to Java Servlets?

I think of it more like webapp-level filters, not really like servlets, although I suppose it could be used that way.
 
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
