Keep in mind that the JSP "code" is actually running on the server, while the JavaScript is running on the client (in the browser or whatever). This means that by the time the JavaScript is run, the Servlet container has already processed the JSP page and generated the result HTML page.

What you are asking is not possible. You have a basic misunderstanding about how JSP works. Please read this article which will explain all.
