I am new to EJB and JPA.

I just created some entities and session beans. The session beans uses the JPA to connect to DB.
I am using eclipse and jboss.

For any query I write/change, I need to deploy the EAR and start the Jboss to make it inject the EntityManagerFactory to my beans and only then I can test the queries.

I spend more time on restarting the server. (Jboss takes more than 2min to start)

Is their any efficient way to handle this?

(Apart from getting through with query language )
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
