What's the difference between Registry.rebind and Naming.rebind?

Hello!

I'm new to RMI, and when i was writing my first "Hello, RMI" program i found out two ways of placing my remote objects to the registry:

1.

  Remote robject = new RemoteObject(); 
  Registry registry = LocateRegistry.createRegistry(1099); 
  registry.rebind("HelloRMI", robject);

2.

  Remote robject = new RemoteObject();
  Naming.rebind("HelloRMI", robject);

Both ways work fine with my application, but what's the difference between them? Should i use any particular one?
