How to show modules depending on the users role in a web app?

Hi,
I need to write the struts layer of a web-app where the modules visible to a user, once the user logs in , the modules visible to the user depend on the role assigned to her/him.

What are the suitable options to implement this?

Thanks for the help.

I believe this is something 99% web.xml

You can assign groups to certain patterns like the administrators are assigned to admin/* (the admin module). I don't know how else to explain it without just doing it for you and what's the fun in that?
