Hello,

I passed my assignment (thanks for answering my questions and the tips in this forum). It has been graded on february, 3rd. So far so good. But I still haven't received my certification. After 30 days (05.03) I wrote a mail to who2contact, but the answer I received a week later was about sending my SCJP cert (that I received month ago...).

What else can I do?

Hi Michael,

Congratulations for passing the SCJD!

Do you see something like 4509840 Developer for the Java 2 Platform Kit: Mailed in your history of the Sun Certification Database? If it is, you should file a new incident, but that's nowadays nothing more than sending email to who2contact And as you know (or don't know) they have serious trouble to deal with all sent mails. A few recent threads are discussing these problems: thread1 and thread2. So I'm afraid the only thing you can do, is be patient.

Kind regards,
Roel

Hi Roel,

thank you. No, I don't see such an entry, so I assume that they have not yet managed to get the data from the assignment database to the sun database. The only SCJD entry is my test taking of the essay (10 days after I've taken it...). So, I just have to wait and write e-mails. Perhaps I write to my country's sun training center.
Thank you again and bye,

Michael

After another three e-mails, I finally got this message:

"Michael, Congratulations! You have passed the Sun Certified Java Developer certification. You are among the elite 1% of certified Java professionals who have gone on to achieve the Java Developer certification. There was a problem in the database putting the parts together to calculate your certification. That has been fixed. Your certificate has been qued for shipping. Look for a certificate in the mail in about 2 weeks. Thank you for all your efforts with this certification, and good luck.
Thanks, Gary OCP Team"

So, I hope this works for now there is no more entry on: https://i7lp.integral7.com/durango/. (There has been an entry that I took my essay, perhaps this has been wrong?).

Bye,
Michael
